Mature pines can cost an unoptimised string 15–25% of annual yield. With module-level optimisers or microinverters, losses typically drop to 3–7%, so a 10 kWp system still produces around 16,000–17,000 kWh per year on this slope.
On the Costa del Sol the installed price is €950–€1,200 per kWp for a budget system, €1,200–€1,500 per kWp for a premium system with hybrid inverter and full legalisation, and €1,500–€1,950 per kWp once battery storage is included. A 10 kWp villa system with a 10 kWh battery therefore lands between €15,000 and €19,500.
Our price includes panels, hybrid inverter, mounting structure, cabling and protections, installation by our own certified team, commissioning, monitoring app, full legalisation with the Junta de Andalucía and the filing of the IRPF deduction, plus any municipal IBI/ICIO bonification your municipality still grants (Marbella repealed its solar IBI bonification on 03-03-2025, so no Marbella IBI application applies). Cheap quotes frequently exclude legalisation and subsidy filing, which can cost €600–€1,200 afterwards.
The state IRPF income-tax deduction returns up to 60% of the investment (capped per year). Municipal incentives vary: Fuengirola and Torremolinos apply a 50% IBI bonification for three years, Ronda 30% and Málaga 15%, while Marbella repealed its solar IBI bonification on 03-03-2025 and several other municipalities have none in force.
