Installed prices in Marbella in 2026: €4,500–€6,500 for an apartment or small home (3–4 kWp), €15,000–€19,500 for a villa with a 10 kWp system and 10 kWh battery, and €22,000–€28,000 for large villas (15–20 kWp with 20 kWh storage). That is €950–€1,950 per kWp all-in, including 10% VAT, permits and legalisation.
Between €950 and €1,950 per kWp installed, depending on system size: larger systems are cheaper per kWp. A 4 kWp system sits near the top of the range; a 15–20 kWp villa system near the bottom — even with battery storage included.

For a typical family home with 5–6 kWp, expect €6,500–€9,500 installed without battery and €11,000–€14,500 with a 5–10 kWh battery. The final price depends on roof type, distance to the meter, number of phases and whether you also charge an electric car or heat a pool.
With around 1,700 kWh per kWp per year on the Costa del Sol and an electricity price near €0.22/kWh, most systems pay back in 5–8 years without battery and 7–10 years with battery, depending on how much of your production you use yourself.
Battery storage typically adds €4,500–€9,000 depending on capacity (5–20 kWh) and brand, including the hybrid inverter and installation. Actual backup capability depends on battery capacity, inverter type, backup hardware and how your home is wired.
